Our Mission

Our purpose built unit, gives a warm, cosy & unique environment for Babies & under two's to feel content whilst exploring the unique nursery setting we offer. We will continue to develop each child’s cultural capital & babies are encouraged to play in both a sensory and physical way concentrating on the prime areas of learning. Lots of floor time is given to young babies to help develop strong muscle tone and physical skills. 

 Based on a Reggio Emilia Approach our room for  two year old's  acts as the 3rd-teacher,  giving many opportunities for child led learning and staff teach children through play, all planning is in the moment with instant next steps. We use open ended resources to develop imagination and creative thinking and we believe strongly in making learning fun for children. Each child’s cultural Capital is always taken into consideration as staff plan carefully to open up a variety of new experience and learning opportunities.

We believe children are capable learners and we expect our rooms to act as the 3rd-teacher. Staff are skilful at developing children’s learning, they use open ended questions and encourage children to reflect and hypothesise when experimenting and exploring.  Children are encouraged to be creative and we actively encourage free expression. .  Project based activities are used to develop children’s interest and take learning to the next level. 

Outdoor play is an intrinsic part of every ones childhood children are happier when outside and we allow and encourage this behaviour our outdoors is an extension of the indoors and offers a myriad of opportunities.

Our school holiday club provides your children with safe places to play, gives them opportunities to learn new skills and engage in a range of new experiences & access to a wide variety of activities.

Our sensory room provides children with the opportunity to relax and unwind in a calming environment. The lights and resources stimulate children's senses and heuristic development.
