Breakfast and Free Play. Older children are encouraged to make their own breakfast. The children are able to freely explore the environment
Children are supported to brush their own teeth ensuring a healthy smile and good oral hygiene. Children then take part in dance and movement in order to stimulate the body, feeling ready for a day of learning
Our children will choose to take part in a purposefully planned activity, outdoor play or free play. Either way our dedicated team will be there to provide support and to scaffold children's learning
Our practitioner will assist children in tidying up ensuring they know their surroundings well. The children will then be supported in the bathroom and learn about hygiene as they wash their hands. The older children will help to set the tables for dinner and all children may enjoy singing songs until dinner is ready
Children will enjoy a healthy nutritious meal and will have conversations about healthy foods. This is a good time for children to learn to turn take, use manners and develop self help skills when serving their own food and pouring their own drinks .
After dinner, some children may sleep. There will be a dedicated space for sleeps and children will have their own bedding stored in their own bedding bag. The room will be made to help relax and calm children to fall into a natural sleep. Older children who no longer have a sleep will be able to explore the rest of the environment.
Children begin to wake up and activities commence. Children may take part in Yoga sessions or participate in dough disco. The outdoor area is always available should they choose this. Whatever they choose to do they will be supported by our incredible team.
Our children enjoy a freshly prepared afternoon tea. Children will sit together and older children will help to prepare food by spreading butter onto bread and making sandwiches or cutting fruit.
Children will be able to freely access the environment and staff will start to say goodbye to children as they leave. Parents will be given information about their child's day and staff will begin to prepare the environment ready for another day of fun and learning.
